The BIOPARC accounts for more than 150 births a year!

For most of the species, the parents carry out the breeding. For some birds, our team assists the breeding by putting the eggs in incubators and monitoring the hatching and development of the chicks.

The young birds will stay during their weaning and growth, before being sent to another zoo or before their reintroduction in their natural environments, as it is the case for the vultures or the Northern Bald Ibis.
